Another Tri Angle Records Act...

Ariel Pink has just released what he calls his 911 tribute. Ariel and me had a short chat on the Glendale Wholefoods parking lot today, right after an in depth interview with James Ferraro about his upcoming Album Far side Virtual. The video features drugs, television screens, Ariel dancing, one burning American Flag and drugs. The video basically visualizes links between american everyday life from a very personal perspective and war.

Most importantly for all of Ariel's fans and contrary to ongoing rumours stating Ariel hadn't written a song for decades he states he was still composing. For the next week Haunted Graffiti are of for Brazil.

On the parking lot we were also shortly discussing nobel prize laureate FA Hayek's paper The Pretence of Knowledge, which Ariel likes and finds surprisingly clairvoyant. I find it the clearest text on the idea of capitalism just before two lectures Foucault once gave on the subject.
